Our Blewbury village community has a special kind of unity that we cherish deeply. One of the ways we keep this bond strong is through various events and activities that bring us all together. We recently had an exciting event that not only brought us together but also contributed significantly to local charities.
Grand Football Match: Blueberry Vs Red Lion
Wow, what a blast we had this past weekend! The grand football match between Blueberry and Red Lion pubs was a sight to behold. The idea behind the match was to unite both pubs and generate contributions to local charities.
On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, most of the Blewbury village people were at the Blewbury Clubhouse, cheering and supporting their favourite teams. Both teams displayed exceptional strength and agility, but in the end, the Blueberry pub triumphed with a 2:1 win. Congratulations team Blueberry!
The celebrations were held at the Blueberry pub, filled with drinks, laughter, and great fun.
Our village people turned up in large numbers, making the event memorable. We were also able to raise over £1000 for The Blewbury Primary School, The Playgroup, The Tony Loy Trust, and Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue. A big thank you to everyone who came and made their donations.
Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue's Spring Fayre 2024
This year, Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue is ramping up their fundraising efforts with a goal of their Wildlife Hospital Appeal. They plan to hold an arena with live music, performances, lots of rides, stalls, food stands, and much more. In short, there will be something for everyone!

To support Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue, you can participate in our Meat Raffle held every Friday at our pub. Each participant pays £5 for a strip of raffle tickets at the bar during the week or directly on Friday evening. This small contribution not only gives the ticket holders a chance to win some mouth-watering meat but also supports a noble cause.
Last week has been raised additional £50. Total this year so far: £885. Thank you!
Monthly Winnings at Our Pub
Did you know that you can win one of three fantastic prizes every month? These include a £50 worth bar tab, a £25 worth bar tab, or a bottle of house red or white wine. At the end of every month, we have a prize draw and announce winners. This month, our April Draw is on the 28th of April!
Participation is simple! Follow us on Instagram and we will write down your Instagram name and put it into a red box together with email slips. This will enable you to participate not only in this month's prize draw but also in upcoming ones.

Did you know that Tuesdays are Tear and Share pizza time? You can choose any two types of pizzas on one pizza base. It's perfect for when you're not too hungry but want to sample more pizzas. More Beer for a Good Cause
We, at The Blueberry pub, are very proud to announce our sponsorship for the BVS beer festival. A day filled with fun, entertainment, food, and most importantly, a diverse range of beers.
